GL events: technical service provider to the COP 22

The 2016 Conference of the Parties - COP 22 - will be held in Marrakesh

Following on from Lima and Paris, the 2016 Conference of the Parties - COP 22 - will be held in Marrakesh from 7 to 18 November 2016.

GL events Audiovisual is providing the following services:

-          Air-conditioning
-          Heating
-          Lighting
-          Sound system
-          Simultaneous interpreting
-          Video equipment
-          Power distribution

The teams from GL events Audiovisual  installed more than 100km of heavy gauge cables, 25 MVA of electrical power and 140 electrical cabinets for the power distribution, 800 LED screens for the video, around 50 video-projectors and 400 semi-circular speakers for the sound system.

GL events also provided all the furniture for the COP 22, in the assembly and meeting rooms, the press areas, the VIP lounge and the stands in the green area.

The teams from Hall expo are in charge of the temporary structures; they have installed:

- 96, 800m² of structures (87 different structures),
- a total of 93,850m² of flooring,
- 546 doors,
- 347 ramps,
- a canopy of 13, 000m²
